Mrs. Connell was a lifelong area resident and worked as a cook in the Seneca R7 school dist, retiring 11 years ago.
Della was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Connell, in 1988. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gale Lawson, a sister, Betty Ford, and two brothers, James Raines and Albert Raines.
She is survived by six children, Diane Michael of Neosho, Missouri, Cheryl Roy of Independence, Kansas, Kay Nunn of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Tammy Martinas of San Angelo, Texas, Steven Lawson of Fate, Texas and Granville Michael of Neosho, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jane Barker of Neosho, Missouri, and Juanita Duncan of Goodman, Missouri; and a brother, John Raines of Neosho, Missouri.
