Margaret E. Johnston, 89, of Davenport, died May 10, 2012, at Crest Health Center in Davenport.
Margaret was born in 1923 in Keosauqua to Earl and Esther Johnston. She worked in accounting for 30 years with Sears Roebuck, retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Survivors include a sister, Donna M. Beggs of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Paul Johnston of Keosauqua; and several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate her life will be held at 10:30 am Monday at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. Her family will greet friends from 9:30 am until time of service on Monday. Intermet will be in Lebanon Cemetery near Keosauqua. Memorials may be made to The Ridgecrest Foundation or to St. John's United Methodist Church.
