Osa went by the nickname of Dutch as a child and signed his name always Osa C. Landreth although he was born Clarence Osa Landreth.
Osa and Wilma Landreth in 1930 were living in North township, Labette, Kansas. They were renting a home. He first married at age 25 and she at age 19. Osa was a farmer.

Funeral services for Osa Clarence "Dutch" Landreth, 71, who died Saturday, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Burris-Wall Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Alvin Daetwiler.
Landreth died following a heart attack at his home at 1613 Partridge.
He was born Oct. 11, 1896, at Oswego (Kans.), the son of Les and Hannah Landreth. He attended Oswego schools and came to Parsons in 1918. He was a boiler-maler for the Katy Railroad for about 37 years and also operated a dairy about 30 years.
He was married in July, 1920, to Wilma Collins. She died in May 1964.
Two days before his death he was married to Mrs. Florence Sumpter. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gerald Slane, Parsons; a sister, Mrs. Opal McCreary, Wichita; four step-sons, Norman Sumpter, Parsons; William Sumpter, Pittsburg; John and Floyd Sumpter, both of Moline, Ill.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Roy Kirk, Erie, Ill; and Miss Virginia Sumpter, Lincoln, Calif. There was one granddaughter, and five brothers who preceded him in death.
Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Burris Watt Funeral Home.
