Grandma was always small in stature but she could get her point across better than someone twice her size.
My favorite memories of her, and there are many, are of the times we visited Eldorado when I was pretty young. She gave my parents her bed and she would fold out the couch. She and I would sleep on the couch together, like a slumber party. She also had a plastic apron that she would put on me, pull up a chair to the sink and let me help her do the dishes or cook. She took great care of my brothers and me during the time that I lived next door after my parents divorced. I miss her dearly.
Love and miss you so much. I really wish I had listened to your stories of the family history. I have so many questions that I never thought I would need answers for about our family. -
