John Mitchell McCraw, passes away at 85 years and 4 months. He died at the home of John A. Ragle one and one half miles west of Princton.
He was the father of ten children, eight of whom are living, two having died in infancy.
He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. McCraw was born in South Carolina, and afterward's moved to Tennessee, where he was married to Catherine Sanders. He then moved to Arkansas where he lived until 1903 when he came to Collin County.
His wife has been dead thirty five years. Since her death, he has made his home among his children.
His children wish to thank the neighbors and friends for kindnesses rendered during his sickness. He was buried in the Princeton Cemetery, Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. Samuel Weaver conducting the services.
