Jasmine C. Jackson, 9, St. Augustine, died April 15, 2001, following a long illness. She was a fourth-grade student at Webster Elementary School, where she enjoyed reading and math. She was an active member of New St. James Mission-ary Baptist Church, where she was part of the youth department and a member of the choir. She also attended New Birth Christian Fel-lowship.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at New St. James Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Nathaniel Jackson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 5 to 7 p.m., today, and from 2:30 p.m. Saturday until the hour of services.
Survivors include her mother, Christie Jenkins, St. Augustine; grandmothers Ruby Washington and Alice Daniel; grandfather, Richard McRay; four sisters, Tiffany Jackson, DaQueisha Green, Brittany Jenkins, Briana Jenkins; and one brother, Javonte Walker. All reside in St. Augustine.
Coleman's Mortuary, Hastings, is in charge.
