Miss Agnes was adopted from a shelter in Long Beach, California while Michael was in the Navy. She was in a cage with only a wire bottom. As soon as we seen that, she was ours! For weeks she walked with her toes spread and careful like she still was in there! She moved across the United States twice with us. Never complained but just a few minutes when we would start out in the car, then she would settle down for the ride. She raised Oreo .
They were the best of friends. But she had to tolerate a "puppy" until he mellowed out..."somewhat". They played, and got into trouble at times and was found sleeping snuggled up many times!
Agnes was a good cat and pet. We dearly miss her! She was very unique and you never misunderstood what she wanted, when she wanted it!
Specifically: We have her little urn, she will rest with us one day when we meet again.
