My good buddy.
We got him when he was 4 weeks old. His mom didn't make it long after the pups were born. I was thinking about a name for him careful to make sure it fit him. Well he got his name one night while my daughter was watching t.v. and she had an Oreo Cookie just dangling from her hand within reach. He proudly walked over and just took it and ran. She yelled "MOM, he took my cookie!" Therefore we named him Oreo.
He seen me through some lonely times while my husband was away with the Navy, he was such good company!
As he got older and older his nose got whiter and whiter! I would tell him, "BooBoo(his nick name), it looks like you stuck your nose in the flour".
I sure miss him, and always will.
He had congestive heart failure and he let us know when it was "his time" to play at the Rainbow Bridge. He went there with us beside him, talking to him with loving words and our touches of love.
Specifically: We have his little urn, he will rest with us one day when we meet again.
