Quinn Arlie Christensen, age 86, passed away on June 27, 2015 in Central Valley, Utah. Quinn was born February 27, 1929, in Central, Utah to Walter Christensen and Catherine Marie Christensen. He has one brother, Reed W. Christensen.

Quinn graduated from South Sevier High School on May 22, 1947. He attended college at Branch Agricultural College, now Southern Utah University, and Brigham Young University.

He married Betty Lou Hunt in the Manti Temple on September 19, 1952 and together they celebrated sixty-two years of wonderful marriage. One of the highlights of his life was the mission he and Betty served at the Oakland Temple Visitors Center in California. They also loved serving at the Manti Temple together.

Quinn loved people. He loved working and being a farmer and never tired of taking care of the many jobs on the farm. Quinn was called to many positions of leadership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed being in scouting since he was a young boy.

Quinn so loved his family, which includes: Peggy (Kim) Peterson, Debra (Wayne) Bezanson, Kathryn (Ralph) Brown, Terry (Penni) Christensen, and Amy (Justin) Peterson, 21 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Quinn was preceded in death by his parents and two great-grandchildren.

A special thank you to the many friends and family who called at our home, as well as hospice for the loving care that was given during the past weeks.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Central Valley LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the church in Central Valley on Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Magleby Mortuary Richfield, Salina and Manti.
