Mr. Goding was born Nov. 29, 1917, in Aledo, a son of Gerry O. and Bess martin Goding. he attended Aledo schools.
On Nov. 20, 1938, he married Edith Howlett in Muscatine. She died May 5, 1974. He married Marjorie Hutchins Lemon, May 30, 1975, in Aledo.
He was employed as service manager at Maloney Buick in Rock Island and recently as service manager of the Harney Morgan Co. in Aledo.
He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Later Day Saints in Joy.
Surviving are the wife, a son, Roy Goding, Salina, Kan.; three grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Bes Goding, Aledo, a brother, William Ebbings, Aledo; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Harold Morrison of Viola, and Mrs Lee Bell and Mrs. Joe Vitale, Aledo and seven step-grandchildren.
