Helen was the fourth of ten children and the first daughter born to Philip Findley McQuillan and Gladys Blanche Nichols.

Helen Francis McQuillan, born on May 29, 1910 in Juneau, Teritory of Alaska.
Married to , John " Jack " Hamilton, from 1932 to 1946. Helen remarried Jack in 1957 and they were together until her death at home in Stillwater, Nevada of heart failure on November 18, 1966. With a Navy Chaplin and a loving family in attendance, Helen was buried in a graveside service at the Churchill County Cemetery, Fallon, Nevada on November 22, 1966. She is survived by her husband, John " Jack " Hamilton, of Stillwater, Nevada and a son, John Michael Hamilton of San Diego, California.

Little did she know that her husband, John would follow her in death 4 months and 16 days later.

God bless their souls and may they rest in peace.
