-- KERSHAW -- A graveside service for Addie Adams Clark, 91, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2008, in Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Bryant D. Fersner and Bart Miles will officiate.
Mrs. Clark, widow of Charlie Clark, died Wednesday, January 23, 2008, in Springs Memorial Hospital. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Mamie Adams. Mrs. Clark retired as a secretary in Houston, TX. She moved back to Kershaw in 1988. She was a member of First Baptist Church Kershaw, Heath Springs Eastern Stars and Kershaw Senior Citizens.
Surviving are her children: Charles M. Horton and his wife Vickie of Las Vegas, NV, Dotsy Horton Gardner and her husband Shelton of Kershaw. She was preceded in death by her first husband Clifford Horton. She had four grandchildren: Mike Gardner and his wife Becki of Rock Hill, Dean Gardner and his wife Wanda of Kershaw, Tammy Horton Burns and her husband Ken of Amarillo, TX, Charles Horton, Jr. and his wife Pattie of Colorado Springs, CO, and one brother, Jimmy Adams and his wife Evelyn of Heath Springs, and one nephew, Eddie Adams and his wife Anita of Heath Springs, SC, and their son, John Manley. Mrs. Clark is survived by 8 great-grandchilden.
The family will receive friends at the graveside following the burial.
