Robert D.Snyder,82,of Parker died at 9am.in the Butler Memorial Hosp.,following a brief illness.Born Sept.13,1903,in Perry Twp.,Clarion Co.son of the late Isaac and Lettie McFarland Snyder.On Feb.25,1925,he married the former Helen Crispen,who survives.In his early yrs.Mr.Snyder provided a public threshing service to the farmers in the Clarion Co.area.In 1938,he began a poultry business in Perry Twp.,operating it until his retirement in 1972.He was a member of the Parker Presbyterian Church and the senior citzens group of the West Freedom.In addition to his wife,he is survived by two brothers,Wm.P.Snyder,Parker and Winan Snyder,Kent,Ohio;and a number of nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by five sisters.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9pm. at the H.Jack Buzard Funeral Home,Parker.Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home with Rev.Richard Anschutz,pastor of the Parker Presbyterian Church.
