April 29, 1889 - Emma Almand, adopted daughter of T. S. Almand married Allison Sims of Alabama and they have moved to live in Alabama.

On the 1880 Census - Rockdale County, Georgia:
Emma Almand age 8 born about 1872 is listed as sister to Thomas Almand age 32. His wife Ann Almand age 31.

Emma is not Thomas S. Almand's sister. Someone needs to look for the Adoption papers in Rockdale Courthouse.

Emma Almand Sims is buried in Chilton County, Alabama. Her findagrave memorial is 156143453.


In the 1900 census Thomas and Mariah A. Almand are living in Town, Rockdale County, Georgia.
They have been married for 40 years. No children listed.
