EDGAR G. BAKER
Edgar G. Baker, 66, of Martins Ferry, formerly of Beallsville, died unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 14) on a Martins Ferry street.
He was born Dec. 25, 1900, near Beallsville, a son of John and Maggie Pool Baker.
Mr. Baker was a steel mill worker until his retirement and was a member of Eagles Lodge at Martins Ferry.
He is survived by two uncles, Milton Pool of Beallsville and Walter Pool of Ozark; and several nieces and nephews.
Frieds may call at Harper-Campbell Funeral Home in Beallsville where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday with Rev. Richard Perkins officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery near Beallsville.
