KATHRYN EUDORA STICKLAND SHOCKLEY, 88, passed away on April 25, 2009. She was born May 26, 1920 in Corinth, MS. She was the daughter of Wash and Mary Annis Strickland. She married Maurice Shockley in 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1970. She retired from the University of Memphis after 31 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She leaves two loving sons, Michael Shockley and his wife, Becky of Memphis, TN, and Danny Shockley and his wife, Janet of Minneapolis, MN. She leaves four grandchildren, Stephanie Miles of Sarah, MS, Martha Jones of Rossville, TN, Andrew Shockley of Minneapolis, MN, and Jeff Shockley also from Minneapolis, MN. She leaves one great-grandson, Harrison Mclain Jones of Rossville, TN. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of the services. Visitation will be Monday, April 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 28 in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m., followed by burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
