Audrey L. Giles 1929 ~ 2006 HEBER CITY - Audrey LaVon Giles, age 76, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2006 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 1, 1929 in Heber City, Utah to William Earl Giles and Ruby Mae Stanley. She married her best friend and sweetheart, Royal A. Giles, November 7, 1946.
They enjoyed many activities together, most of all traveling in their motor home. Audrey is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Royal; her mother, Ruby Giles; three children, Carolyn (Kent) Kolan of Mountain Green, Kenneth (Cindy) of Heber City, Brent (Dorothy) of Heber City; three sisters, Chloe Smith of Linden, Ruth (Jay) Sulser of Heber City, Earlene (James) Prescott of South Jordan; one brother, Stanley (Dianne) Giles of Heber City. Also, survived by eight grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father; one brother, William 'Boyd' Giles; and brother-in-law, Nyle Smith. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2006, 11 a.m. at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 North Main Street, Heber City. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services in the Heber City Cemetery.
