Henry R. Armstrong Dies in California
Word was received late Wednesday of the death of Henry R. Armstrong, 82, 633 E. Walnut street, which occurred Wednesday afternoon at Los Angeles, Calif., as the result of coronary thrombosis. He was spending the winter in California.
Mr. Armstrong was a retired conductor of the Nort Western railroad for which he worked for 44 years. He was a lifelong resident of Green Bay and owned considerable real estate in the city. His Masonic Lodge affiliations were in Chicago where he was a member of of the Medinah shrine and Marquette, Mich., where he held membership in the consistory.
Survivors are one brother, James T., Green Bay; two nephews, Roy J. Allen, Green Bay, and John Allen; and one niece, Mrs. William Davis, Minneapolis.
Definite funeral arrangements have not been made but the body is being shipped to Green Bay. The Findeisen-Greiser funeral home is to be in charge.
