Roland P. Bottiglia, 72, of Harrisburg, PA, died Thursday, January 30, 2003, at Blue Ridge Mountain Nursing Home, Harrisburg. He was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy, during the Korean War. He retired after 30 years from the Harrisburg School District; had also been the Athletic Director for the school district for 6 years; member of the VFW in Lawnton and the American Legion. Surviving are one daughter, GayeLee Bottiglia of Dillsburg; three sons, James of Harrisburg, John of Middletown, Matthew of Hummelstown; four step-children, Elizabeth Durand of Paris, France, Deborah Schultz of Lewisberry, Bruce McLaren of Pittsburgh, Mark McLaren of Linglestown; one sister, Adele Molinaro of NJ; one brother, William Bottiglia of MA; fifteen grandchildren and three step- great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2003, at 7: 30 p.m., at First Church of God, 4th and Strawberry, Harrisburg, PA, with burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. Cremation arrangements are by the Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
