Muncie- Patricia A. Terhune, 85, passed away Wednesday evening, December 18, 2013 at Westminster Village.
She was born February 10, 1928 in Muncie, the daughter of Arthur W. and Sybil (Sites) Thomas. Patricia graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1946. On July 31, 1953 in Muncie, she married Bill Terhune.
Patricia worked the Muncie Public Library downtown and at the Kennedy Branch. She also worked at Bracken Library at Ball State University until her retirement in 1987. Patricia was a longtime member of Riverside United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's group. She was also a member of the N.N. Club, and the Muncie Alumnae Chapter of Tri Delta sorority. Patricia volunteered for Ball Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, where she made pillows, and also volunteered at the Muncie Children's Museum. She loved to read.
Survivors include her husband of over sixty years, Bill Terhune of Muncie; two daughters, Mary Ann Ryan (husband, Allen) of West Chester, OH and Karen Francisco (husband, Brian) of Fort Wayne; four grandsons, Christopher Ryan (wife, Allison) of Liberty Township, OH, Eric Francisco of Warsaw, Casey Ryan of West Chester, OH and Michael Francisco of Bloomington; one great-grandchild, Matthew Ryan; many special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters and two brothers.
