CALLAWAY, Dr. Donald Wayne, of Lynchburg, VA, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at his residence. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Harriett Simrell Callaway; 3 sons, Carey Callaway and wife Phaedra of Lynchburg, VA, Danny Callaway and wife, Karen, of Boulder, CO and Chad Callaway of Lynchburg, VA; 3 grandsons, Izat, Eli and Simrell; sister, Barbara Hudson and husband, Robert, of Prattville, AL.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Harrelson and Rev. Ralph Calloway officiating, Gassett Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Bapist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Southern Baptist International Mission Board, Richmond, VA.
