New Carlisle---Michael D. Anderson, 45, of Timothy Road, was found dead early Friday at Certified Heating and Cooling, 54020 Profit Court Drive.
James McMeel, county coroner, ruled the death a suicide.
Mr. Anderson was co-owner of Certified Heating and Cooling.
He was born July 19, 1949, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.
On May 6, 1971, in New Carlisle, he married Ardith K. Kleine, she survives, with a daughter Michelle M. and a son, Andrew J. , both at home; his mother, Elva Anderson of New Carlisle; three sisters, Mary Ford of New Carlisle, Pat Showalter of Wichita Kan., and Rosella Dundore of Kalamazoo Mi.; four brothers, James, and Robert, of New Carlisle, John of Peachtree, Ga., and William of Plymouth.
Mike was a member of the United Methodist church of New Carlisle, American Legion Post 297. Michiana Corvette Club, and Sheet Metal Local 20.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in Olive Chapel Cemetery. Friends mat call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, New Carlisle.
