Graveside services for Jerrold Edward McCormick, 79, of 1820 N. 19th St., who died April 30, 1982, in a Boise Hospital will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cloverdale Memorial Park by Ralph Bryant of the Church of Christ, with cremation under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home. He was born July 18, 1902, in Eaufala, Okla., to W.B. and Vada McCormick. He was reared in Vienna, LA, and Dublin and Greenville, Texas, and was educated in Greenville, where he attended Burleson College. He served in the Navy for six years. He married Victoria E. Ferestad on Oct 5, 1955, in Seattle. Mr. McCormick was a gas measurement engineer for Lone Star Gas Co. in Texas for 30 years. They moved to Boise, where he was a gas measurement engineer for Intermountain Gas Co. for 20 years. Survivors include his wife of Boise; two daughters, Mrs. LeRay (Alice) Anderson and Mrs. R.E. (Jerry Alene) Lee, both of Santa Ana, Calif.; a son, R.H. McCormick of Mount Vernon, Wash.; a stepson, J. Dale Ferestad of Scheider, Inc.; 19 grandchildren; and 11 great-grand children.
