Edward "Eddie" Paul Grinder, 30, died July 13, 2012 in Port St. Lucie. He was born in Pittsburgh and lived in the Fort Pierce-Port. St. Lucie area since 1994, coming from the Florida Keys.
He was a car mechanic and boilermaker, and a local DJ. He attended Fort Pierce Central High School.
Survivors include his wife, Gayle Monty-Grinder of Port St. Lucie; parents, Diane Sanford Collier of Port St. Lucie and Gary L. Grinder of Key Largo; son, Devon of Port St. Lucie; sisters, Alecia Collier and Sharon Sanford of Port St. Lucie, Jennifer Grinder of St. Louis. Aunt, Jeannine Sanford of Vandergrift, PA; brother, Jeff White of Fort Pierce; maternal grandfather, Chuck Sanford of North Apollo, PA; and paternal grandparents, Frank and Betty Grinder of Apollo, PA.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sharon Sanford.

Services: A celebration of life service will be noon July 20 at the South Jetty, Seaway Drive, Fort Pierce. The Rev. Paul Phipps of Sent Life Church will officiate. Arrangements are by Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service. A guestbook is available at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com.
