Raymond H. Lacasse, 87, passed away February 27, 2012 in Palm Coast, FL. He was born February 29, 1924 to Hector and Ida (Benoit) Lacasse in Pawtucket, RI. He proudly served his country during WWII as a part of Merrill's Marauders. After the war he was a police officer in North Addleboro, MA. He retired as a route salesman for Curtis Products.
Raymond and his wife Claire moved to Ormond Beach in the late 1970's and lived there until they moved to Palm Coast in 1998. He was a member of AARP and enjoyed being a volunteer in the ER of Florida Health Care. He loved camping and was a great woodworker spending many hours crafting treasures for his friends and family.
He is survived by his sons Dennis (Lynda) Lacasse of North Addleboro, MA, Paul (Diane) of Addleboro, MA, Brian (Judy) of Ayer, MA, Robert (Jennifer) of Bunnel, FL, and Bruce (Trisha) of Rutland, MA. , Daughter Susan (Mark) Langille of High Point, NC, his significant other June Leicher, 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Claire, 3 brothers and his daughter Louise.
