Lawrence R. Holley, 72, a farmer-rancher, former employee of Natural Gas Pipeline and a co-founder of Bridgeport Tank Trucks, went to be with our Lord on Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, at his home.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Cottondale. Interment: Boonsville Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials: Boonsville Cemetery Association or First Baptist Church in Cottondale.
Mr. Holley was a member of the American International Charolais Club, a past master of the Moose Lodge in Woodard, Okla., an honorary member of the Bridgeport Fire Department and an honorary member of the Roughneck Club.
Survivors: Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jan Holley Cook and husband, Leslie; sons, David L. Holley and wife, Ronda, Ronald W. Holley and wife, Millie, and Randal S. Holley and wife, Gale; grandchildren, Brian, Brad, Jason, Kristen, Casey, Michelene, Michelle, Sommer, Rider, Kenneth and Michael; great-grandchildren, Cole, Kyler, Kalista, Kalliope, Tanner, Courtland, Tim, Maddox and Brayden; brother, Marlan Holley and wife, Sue; sister, Joyce Nall and husband, B.F.; and twin sister, Ruby Lunday and husband, G.H.
