Died in her sleep after her lunch while taking a nap at her granddaughter Anna J. Campbell's home on South Market Street, Petersburg.

Clara Warner Smith is the daughter of Hiram Warner and Sarah Zieger. Hiram was in the Civil War but no flag is at his grave. She is buried behind Hiram and Sarah. The original plot deed ( i have this) says there are more plots there that are un used.
