DENISON - Funeral for David Leroy Aday, 54, of Denison who died Nov. 16, 1992, at his residence will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Carol Norton officiating. Aday was born Feb. 12, 1938, at Carpenters Bluff, son of Dean Lee and Vera Melton Aday. He attended Denison schools and Grayson County College. Aday served in the Texas Army National Guard in the 249th Signal Battalion and was called to active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He married Zo Anne Ruth Oct. 24, 1959, in Denison. A 26-year employee of Johns-Manville, he was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Jeffrey Lynn Aday and Travis Glenn Aday, both of Denison; brother, Allen Aday of Denison; two sisters, Mary Layton of Borger, Joann Minor of Broken Bow; and three grandchildren. The family will be at the residence. Pallbearers will be Bobby Clark, Tommy Goode, Kenneth Bentley, Roger Hornsby, Billy Wayne Mitchell, Thomas Wright, Don Brotherton, and Dean Thompson.
