Bernice Swindell of Lindsay, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, November 25th , 2010 in her home at the age of 84. Bernice was born in Lindsay, Oklahoma on April 3rd, 1926. She was married to the late Howard Swindell.
Bernice lived in Lindsay all her life. She graduated from Lindsay High School. Bernice loved spending time with her family and going to lunch and coffee with friends, shopping, watching sports and being available to give advice to family when needed. She also enjoyed taking care of her home.
Mrs. Swindell is survived by her children, Gary Swindell of Duncan Oklahoma, Linda Jones of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and Cody Gray of Lindsay, Oklahoma. Her grandchildren are Misty Wells, Brian Ardrey, Robbie Baker, Noah Jones, Dan Swindell, Natalie Rohwer, Chad Mayhue, and Darci Henderson. One sibling Bee Curcio of Denver, Colorado and fourteen Great Grandchildren.
Mrs. Swindell was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Swindell and her parents, Daniel Wesley and Frances Viola (Clement) Farrow and grandson, Josh Mayhue.
Funeral services are set for ten thirty o'clock a.m. on Tuesday, November 30th, 2010 at the B.G. Boydston Funeral Home Chapel, 308 S.W. Third Street, Lindsay, Oklahoma, with Pastor John Hornbeck officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhill Cemtery in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of B.G.
