Graveside services were held for William Henry "Dub" Campbell, Sr. 83, of Ocean Springs, May 14, 2002, from Biloxi National Cemetery.
He was employed as Superintendent for Oden Construction Company in Hattiesburg until he retired. He helped construct the science tower at the University of Southern Mississippi campus, Ocean Springs High School, D'Iberville High School and numerous buildings at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Gautier. He and his wife also owned Ole Towne Antiques. A veteran of WWII serving in North Africa and a native of Bude, he died May 8.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Morris Campbell of Ocean Springs; sons and daughter-in-laws, Lt. Col. William Henry (Ret.) and Dorothy Campbell of Carmel, Ind. And Paul Morris and Barbara Campbell; a grandson, Carleton Campbell of Ocean Springs and Melanie Campbell-Bunting of Indianapolis, Ind.; a brother, Clyde Campbell of Natchez.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs was in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to Jackson County Animal Shelter, P O Box 998, Ocean Springs, 39568.
