John N. Bebee was enlisted with the US Army during World War II. He was in officer training at the University of Maine. After D-Day he was shipped to France and killed in Battle of the Bulge at Luxembourg. John served in the 104 Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry Division.
John's brother, Eben Robert Bebee, was also killed in World War II. Both brothers were interred on 10 May 1949 at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
