Mrs. Marie E. Crocker, 85, passed into the next life at 7:45 a.m., Sunday, August 28, 2011 at her residence on Four Mile Rd. following an extended illness. She was born November 13, 1925 to the late John A. and D. Olive Randolph Drylie in Larmimer, Pa.

Marie attended North High School and was a 1943 graduate of Turtle Creek High School before moving to the Warren/Sheffield Area. Marie was a Psychiatric Aide at Warren State Hospital for over 26 years, retiring December 30, 1987. After which she became a member of AFSCME and PARSE. She belonged to the Sheffield Senior Center and was a member of E. McKeesport VFW Ladies Auxiliary and transferred her membership to Sheffield VFW #8755 Ladies Auxiliary. Marie loved to read, sew, garden and travel around the country with her family.

She is survived by twin daughters, Connie Snyder, Warren and Jane Klipstine; husband Joseph, Navare, Fl; three sons, Jeffrey Drylie and wife Sylvia, Ark.; James Buck and, Connie Truby, Tiona, and John Buck and wife Linda, Sheffield; three sisters Margaret Berkoben, Wilmerbin, Irene Anderson, Monroeville, and Jean Reed, Monroeville; 9 grandchildren; 17 greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her first husband James M. Buck; second husband Floyd R. Crocker; two brothers Kenneth and Jack Drylie; a grandson Jamie Buck and a greatgranddaughter Teika Marie Snyder.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the BordenLloyd Funeral Home. Rev. Neil Siefert, chaplain, Warren Hospice will officiate and burial will be in Sheffield Cemetery. Friends will be received from 24 and 79 p.m. Wednesday, August 31 at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Warren County or Sheffield Senior Center.
