Lois J. (Six) Bevil, 92, formerly of Conemaugh Township, passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, in West Haven Manor, Washington Township, Westmoreland County.

Lois was born Sept. 18, 1918, in Manor, to the late William and Janet (Drylie) Six. She lived in Conemaugh Township and prior to that she lived in Trafford.

Lois was a homemaker and a member of the The Church of the Good Shepherd in Kent, Pa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Dawson, Christina Gibson, Ellen Mader and Laverne Glaize; and a brother, Robert Six. Lois is survived by her son, Daniel P. Bevil, of Chambersburg; three daughters, Janet and John Quinn, of Central City, Pa., Rebecca and Larry Bender, of Saltsburg, and Elizabeth "Beth" and Donald Crystaloski, of Lower Burrell; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anna Secko, of Wall.

At Lois' request, there will be no visitation. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the CURRAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 701 Salt St., Saltsburg, with Father Salvatore Lamendola officiating. Interment in Iselin Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lois' name to the Alzheimer's Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
