Vincent A. Palka III, 59, passed away peacefully at home September 24, 2015.

He was the beloved husband of Tammy (Aidala) Palka; son of the late Vincent A. and Leonora (DiPanni) Palka; father of Vincent A. Palka IV and his companion Lauren, Paul Tremblay and Anthony R. Palka; brother of Anna Marie Pitron, Katherine Blankenship, Teresa Pennachia and Louis Palka; papa of 3; son-in-law of Vincent and Arleen Aidala; and brother-in-law of Kimberly Aidala. He also leaves nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved dog Gia.

Vinny was a supervisor for Continental engineering and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was also an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. Vinny will be remembered as a peaceful, loving family man with an infectious smile.

Visitation Monday, 4-7 p.m. with his funeral on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Graveside burial with military honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
