Ruth Ann Aller

"Pocatello - Our beautiful Ruth Ann left us suddenly to return to her Heavenly Father on Friday, November 16, 2007. Ruth Ann was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on March 15, 1945, to Jess and Leathie Aller (Hudson). She was raised in Pocatello with her brother, Carl. She attended school in Pocatello, Idaho, where she graduated from Pocatello High School and later from Idaho State University with a B.A. in elementary education and an additional degree in business administration.

Ruth Ann taught elementary school for four years but decided that the business field was her true love. She had worked in the dental profession for 35 years. She worked with Dr. Michaelson for several years, then left to work for the Pocatello Dental Group. She then found employment with Dr. Gene Hoge until he recently retired. After Dr. Hoge's retirement, she stayed and worked for Dr. Janson Mauseth until her passing. She has many wonderful co-workers that she enjoyed going to work to see and associate with each day; she considered them more than just co-workers, they were dear friends.

Ruth Ann's love of travel took her to every state in the union and most more than once. She traveled abroad to many foreign countries, with her most recent trip to France. When not traveling, Ruth Ann was very active in the Credit Professionals International (local, state, district and the international level) as well as the Credit Association of North America, of which she was past district president. She served as treasurer of the Credit Association of Idaho, recording secretary for District 10 Credit Professionals International, publications chairman for International Credit Professionals and a local president many times. She was very excited to begin her new adventure serving as District 10 President of the Credit Professional International.

She has received many distinguishing honors and awards. Through her many hours of hard work and dedication she gathered and treasured many friends, whom she called "family" along the way from all over the world.

While Ruth Ann never married or had children of her own, her life was full of them. Ruth Ann had never had a frown on her face or a bad word to say about anyone. She had a love of life that was contagious and made you want to be with her as much as possible. She was a wonderful daughter who dedicated the majority of her life to help her parents, always ensuring that their will-being was placed even before her own.

After her father passed away she bought her beautiful home. She enjoyed decorating it and surrounding herself with bright and beautiful things. She enjoyed holidays with a childlike enthusiasm, and she would be the first to proclaim when you would ask or doubt, "Yes, indeed, there is a Santa Claus." The holiday season or any other day, certainly will never be the same without her.

Ruth Ann is survived by one uncle, Kenzel Aller; one aunt, Hilda Hudson; as well as numerous cousins and her dog, Misty.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Leathie Aller, her brother, Carl Aller, and her maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2007, at 11 a.m. in the Cornelison-Henderson Funeral Heme, 431 North 15th Ave., Pocatello, Idaho, with Pastor Rod Enos of the River of Life Church conducting. Family will receive friends Friday, November 23, 2007, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and one hour prior to service on Saturday at the Cornelison-Henderson Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at the Moreland Cemetery next to her mother and father.
