Henry Bowers Plymouth Post August 19, 1903
Henry Bowers an old settler of this city died at his home on Milwaukee Street on Thursday morning at the age of 76 years from diabetes. He was born November 11th 1828 in Cozanova, Madison County, New York. He was married to Albina Wadham on March 16th, 1846 and in 1848 he came to live in this county. He served in the Civil War in the Co B of the 27th Wisconsin Regiment from August 1862 to August 1865. He is survived by his wife and the following children; Henry of Madison, Frank of Fond du Lac, Leslie of Green Bay, Mrs. Myrtle Nolan and Mrs., Nellie White of Plymouth also the following brothers and sisters; Daniel of New York, John and Louis of Michigan, Lem in Berlin, Wis., Benjamin of Plymouth, Mrs. H P Davidson of Little Falls, Minnesota and Mrs. C. N. Palmer of Gunnison, Colorado. The funeral will be attended by member of the GAR Post on Saturday and Pastor Stanley will officiate.
