Henry was born in Bucks Co. PA and died in Tuscola Co. MI.
They were married between 1850 – 1852, probably in New York The 1850 census shows Henry & Sarah in Oakfield, Genesee, New York. (The 1850 census also shows a John & Lydia VanBuren, ages 26 & 24 & family; and a John & Nancy Vader, ages 36 & 45, in Oakfield, Genesee Co. NY.) Henry and Sarah had 8 children.
The 1860 census shows Henry as a laborer, with wife Sarah, sons Albert, Eugene and Clarence, in New York.
In the 1970 census of Oakfield, Genesee Co. NY Henry & Sarah are living right next door to Sarah's parents.
The Vaders came to Michigan, from New York, in 1873/1874. They are on the 1880 census in Columbia Township, Tuscola County, Michigan. They were farmers.
Henry died of la grippe according to the death certificate. [A note at the bottom of the death certificate says he did his usual chores in the morning and was walking around just 10 minutes before he died]
They are buried in Tuscola County, Michigan, Columbia Cemetery, right beside their baby grandchild (born to Eugene & Ida Vader) Henry's parents, Bornt & Jane Vader are also buried next to them.
