Daughter of George M. Lancaster (1863-1944) and Ella Corlett Lancaster (1866-1948). Hazel was never married. She was listed as a housekeeper at the time of her death but had been trained as a nurse.

Hazel Lancaster Dies This Morning
Hazel Lancaster, 35, daughter of George and Ella Lancaster, died at 11 o'clock this morning at her home, 308 North Indiana avenue following an illness of the brain, of several months duration.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from Hertz Memorial temple and burial will be in Mound Grove cemetery.
The deceased never married. She was born Feb. 15, 1902 in Kankakee and spent her life in this community. She leaves two brothers, Harry of DuQuoin and Ralph of Long Beach, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Guy Warren of Essex and Mrs. Clarence Siemsen of Kankakee.
The body is at the Hertz temple where friends may call Monday afternoon and evening.
