Charlie was the son of George Harpst Henderson from Humbolt County and Marianne Beaver from California. Grandson of James Willard Henderson of Maine and Lucinda Ellen Foote of Humbolt. Charles Beaver and Jeanette Horne both of California.

Charlie was a standard visitor to Merced's downtown Cinema Cafe where we would see him at breakfast on the weekends, and talk over biscuits and coffee, sitting at the sidewalk tables, basking in the sun. He is missed, terribly.

Merced Sun Star Obituary:
Charlie was born in Hoopa CA, and attended schools in Eureka and Mountain View CA. He also attended Foothill College in Palo Alto CA. Charlie served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Air Force Band. He had a photography business that he started in Sonora and then moved here to Merced.

He was an avid musician, excellent saxophone player and was involved in several bands including Hilmar Community Band and Stockton Community Bands.

He is survived by his daughters Jamie of Lake Tahoe, and Jana of Turlock, His sons; Jeff and Jahn Henderson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Justin and Jamie, Mari and Santino.

Memorial Service will be held at Enclave Community Church, 581 E. Canal Dr. Turlock on Saturday, June 19 at 11 am.
