Mrs. Alice J. Maloney Brehm, 89, of Antwerp, widow of John C. Brehm of that village, died at 9:37 Thursday evening in the Madonna Home of the Mercy Hospital, where she had been a patient since Sept. 10.
Mrs. Brehm was a patient in an Academy Street adult home from March, 1968, until she entered the Mercy Hospital last June. She was transferred to the Madonna Home three months later.
Surviving her aie three sons, John Brehm, Great Neck, L.I., William Brehm, Grant's Pass, Ore., and Karl F. Brehn, 770 Knickerbocker Dr.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two other sons predeceased her. They were: Theodore W. Brehm of Kenmore, who died at his home April 30, 1966, at the age of 57, and Harold C. Brehm, who died at his home in New York Nov 8, 1967, at the age of 63.
Mrs. Brehm was born at Antwerp Feb. 1, 1882, and was the last survivor of a family of eight children of John D. and Alice M. Dundon Maloney.
Her brothers were the late William E. Maloney, Rochester; John D. Maloney, Buffalo; Atty. Rupert L. Maloney, Watertown, and Raymond Maloney, who died overseas during the first World War.
Her sisters were the late Mrs. William L. (Lila B.) Barrett, Mrs. Celestin C. (Elizabeth J.) Burns and Mrs. Ivan J. (Mary H.) Gotham, Watertown.
