George Leo Schleicher was the youngest son of Johann Karl Schleicher and Lina Katherina "Greta" (Knuettel) Schleicher. He was born Sept. 17, 1932 in Rengersfeld, Hessen, Germany. George was full of life and enjoyed motorcycles and skiing. According to mother (his sister) he was the "dare devil" of them all. He was electrocuted and tragically killed while touching a "live wire" on a cement mixing mashine on a construction site in Duesseldorf, Germany on Oct.26, 1954 at the young age of 22 years.
