Leone (Cantonwine) Lee Flook was the daughter of Frank George & Mary Etta (Rogers/Rodgers) Cantonwine, the granddaughter of David "Doc" & Cynthia Emily (Irish) Cantonwine, and great-granddaughter of Charles & Mary Cantonwine.
Charles, the patriarch of the Cantonwine family, immigrated to America from Prussia in 1806, arriving in Philadelphia, Penn., aboard the ship Orlando. The ship's passenger list shows "Chr. Kuntentwine, single man." Eight or so years later, Charles married Mary Magdalena Scholl, daughter of Charles Jacob & Margaret (Fuhr) Scholl, in about 1814 in Bedford county, Pennsylvania.
Leone married Norman Jack Lee, son of Allen and Elizabeth Lee on January 30, 1916, in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado. They had five sons: Norman J., Richard W., James K., Donald C., and Raymond. Leone's husband died May 30, 1929, at the age of 32 in a parachuting accident. She later married John Fred Flook, whose first wife, Blanche, had died in 1931. Leone died in 1942 at the age of 45.
