Frank George Cantonwine was born in April 1865 in Black Hawk Co., IA, the son of David "Doc" and Cynthia (Irish) Cantonwine. He married Mary Etta Rogers on March 6, 1889 in Adair Co., Iowa and had five children, one son and four daughters: Frank Lee, Leona F., Faye E., Florence V., and Beatrice. He died in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, CO November 22, 1917.
