Mr. Barker was born June 23, 1921, in Laketown, Utah, a son of Amos E. and Cora Early Barker.
He was married to Ina Mortenson on April1, 1994, in Montpelier, Idaho. They were later divorced.
He was married Verna Lee Behunin on July 14, 1960 in Ogden, Weber, Utah.
He was an elder in the LDS Church. He was a mechanic for Pete's Body Shop.
Surviving are his widow, three sons, Arnold John Barker Jr., Dean Barker, and Teddy Pratt, all of Ogden; four daughters, Tonette Barker, Penny Lynn Barker, Sue Ann Barker, and Terry Lee Pratt, all of Ogden; four brothers, Amos A. Barker, St. Charles, Idaho; Everett E. Barker, Daniel, Wyo,; Thomas L. Barker, Ogden; Glendon A. Barker, Evanston Wyo,; two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Mildred) Kimball, Ogden; Mrs. Rothery (Erma) Kearl, Layton.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Larkin Chapel of the Dawn with Bishop Drew J. Jorgenson officiating. Friends may call at the chapel Sunday fro 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday prior to services. Burial in Washington Heights Memorial Park.
