Services for Kenneth Brush, 78, of Slaton will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Englunds Chapel with the Rev. Jim Stephens officiating.
Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
He died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003.
He was born Dec. 29, 1924, in Waxahachie, where he attended school. He joined the Navy in 1943 and was stationed on the USS Tennessee in the Pacific theater. Afterward, he moved to Slaton and worked for Santa Fe Railroad, retiring as brakeman in 1985.
He was a member of the UTU, the Slaton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6721 and Westview Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Dennis of Lubbock; a daughter, Barbara Eddleman of Flower Mound; three brothers, Richard of Slaton, Robert of Fredonia, Ariz., and Don of Amarillo; three sisters, Betty Wilkins of Slaton and Faye Brush and Irene Crow, both of Itasca; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
