William T. Good died Wednesday Aug 27th, after a lingering illness of seven months duration, 77 years, 8 months and 2 days.
Mr. Goodnight was born in Mt. Carmel, Ill., Dec 25, 1836.
He ame to Kansas in the early days of the pioneers, and from this state enlisted in the 11th Kan.
Inft., serving throught the great struggle.
He was twice married and leaves seven daughters to mourn the loss of their
Four children preceded him in death. The daughters by his first wife,
are; Mrs. Chas Huntington of Castle Rock, Wash., Mrs. M. L. Songer of Rosalia, Kan., Mrs. Lizzie Brewer of Kelso, Wash.
The other childred are; Mrs. Mary Fredrick of Wichita, Mrs. Josie Joslin of Pittsburg, Mrs. Geo McCombs, of
Hamilton, Mrs. Dors Lyons of Howard.
The funeral was from the residence Friday morning, Rev. L. A. Rorick officiating, interment in the Ott Cemetery.
