Ray Andrew Caruthers, 66, of
Fayetteville, died Dec. 21 at the
Veterans Administration Medical
Center, Fayetteville, AR. He was born
Nov. 4, 1918, at Osborne, Kan., the
son of Richard A. and Maude Ellen
Francis Caruthers. He was a retired
employee of Associated Milk
Producers Inc. of Hillsboro, Kan.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of
World War II and a member of the
Fayetteville American Legion
Shelton-Tucker Post No. 27 and the
Sequoyah United Methodist
Church of Fayetteville. He moved to Fayetteville
in 1979 from Hillsboro, Kansas.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs.
Evelyn Caruthers of the home.
One son, Randy A. Caruthers, McPherson, KS
And two daughters, Patricia Rae Williams, Hutchinson, Ks
and Rebecca Bolton of Fayetteville AR:
Two brothers, Elwyn Caruthers of
Paris, Texas, and Dick Caruthers of
Cherokee, Okla., and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m.
Monday at the National Cemetery at Fayetteville
The Rev.Michael Mattox Officiating.
