Thomas J. Delaney, 73, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011.He was born on December 12, 1937 to the late Joseph and Mabel (Byrne) Delaney. Thomas grew up in Pelham, N.Y. He attended St. Catherine's Grammar School in Pelham, Stepinac High School in White Plains, N.Y. and Fordham University, in the Bronx, N.Y. Thomas was and NCAA athlete in baseball and basketball for the University of Fordham Rams from 1955-1959.He worked for Westinghouse as General Manager of International Sales and President of Premier Metals Corp. in the Bronx, N.Y. Thomas is survived by his son Jed who lives in Monsey, N.Y., sister Diane (Bob)Houston of Carrollton, TX, a niece Hope (Bill) Hirshorn of W. Harrison, NY and nephew David (Tammy)Houston of Plano, TX.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday, July 19, 2011, 2-4 & 7-9pm Mass will be celebrated 11 am, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at St. Theresa Church, 1394 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. 10510.
