Raymond G. Luoma, 72, Johnson City, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at his residence.
A native of Newberry, MI, he was the son of the late Gust and Edith Luoma. Mr. Luoma was of the Lutheran faith. He was a graduate of Newberry High School and Michigan State University. A retired cost accounting professor, he taught at Michigan State University, Bradley University in Peoria, IL, and then at ETSU from 1967 until his retirement. He enjoyed listening to music.
Survivors include a step-daughter who will greatly miss him, Willetta Goodrich, of Johnson City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Clickner Luoma; a brother, Rudy Luoma, who died as a paratrooper in service to his country in Normandy during World War II; and by a half-sister, Wilma Lewis.
