Sidney A Henderson
Sidney Arnold Henderson died on Oct 11, 1961. Sidney was born at Covelo Nov. 30, 1916, of Ella and Bruce Henderson, deceased and attended school here. He worked in Nevada at ranching for a number of years, was also a skilled horseman and Frequently contested in bronc riding at rodeos.
He married Rose Pollack of Yearington, Nevada in about 1941, was divorced about 1955. About 6 months ago he suffered a broken hip in a fishing accident, was hospitalized for 6 weeks, then came here for further convalescence. He stayed with his sister Elaine Bassett for a while then with his brother Robert Henderson and family on their mountain ranch in Trinity County.
Sidney is survived by his sons, Bruce, 10 and Jimmy 12, all of Nevada, daughter Rose Elaine, 19 of Nevada, brothers Leonard of Blocksburg, Douglas of Harris and Robert of Covelo, sister Elaine Bassett of Covelo
